Let me explain the four top reasons to adopt an organic lifestyle diet.
Back in the day… and for some of us, this may include as far back as our great-grandparents… you may recall a small, but productive garden growing in their backyard while visiting for a summer vacation. Maybe they even had a small bunch of above-ground wire cages with several hens providing fresh ‘organic’ eggs every morning.
Very few of us grow our own personal garden anymore. The idea of growing a garden comes and goes for some of us. Many have tried, bought the equipment, soil and seeds only to forgo the attempt next season.
Some individuals even go to the extent of researching the best methods to grow a garden in small quarters such as on their apartment balcony or rooftop.
Back in the day, we weren’t yet exposed to inorganic hazards such as pesticides, herbicides, free radicals, GMO’s, or synthetic fertilizers.
Eating healthy was the norm and easy without the concern about harmful chemicals in the food. It wasn’t normal to consider anything else but healthy grown foods, whether older generations grew fruits and vegetables themselves or bought them off a grocery shelf.
That is no longer the case. The bulk of the foods we consume today are laced with all sorts of these artificial contaminants.
The good news is we are becoming more and more aware of the importance of protecting ourselves from foods that don’t benefit our human vehicle; our temple.
Learning more about how to adopt an organic lifestyle diet is what is truly required for optimum health these days.
Here are four reasons for adopting an “Organic” lifestyle diet:
- Don’t Settle for Less.
Growing our own food would definitely be at the top of the list of deciding how to help ourselves. Growing our own certainly ensures proper and less hazardous growing methods for clean and healthy foods.
Not all of us can do that, though.
Many of us don’t have the time, the know-how, the interest or the physical space for such an undertaking.
Certainly there are different strategies we can employ to provide the best nutrients possible in order to maintain a standard of health we would prefer. - Find the Labels That State “USDA Certified 100% Organic”.
Certainly back in the day no one was scouring grocery labels for the word ‘organic’ on their food purchases.
Although, you must be aware that even in today’s food market anything labelled organic without the “USDA Certified 100% Organic” label, may not be completely organic. Product marketing can be very misleading.
So take the time to read the labels carefully. - Keep Our Families Safe.
Demand more. The best way to demand more food safety is to spend your money on only those foods that prove to be organically sound.
Do not underestimate the power we actually hold.
What would a company do if the majority of us resorted to not buying the less-than stellar products they provide?
Remember the old adage: “The customer is always right!”? Not quite the same context, but this attitude certainly results in the same outcome.
We can get what we want, or the company forfeits their business. - Nutritious Benefits
Organically grown foods have not been robbed of their nutrient benefits. They have more vitamins, minerals and enzymes than the commercially grown varieties.
Providers of organically safe foods use sustainable food practices only. It’s important to them; it’s why they are in the industry.
Quite frankly, they are on the leading edge of sustainable growing and farming necessary for the very near future.
Whatever the reasons you choose to adopt an organic lifestyle diet never underestimate the value of a better taste experience.
We are all looking for different and better life experiences, so why not make a ritual behind your eating habits, with taste being at the top of the list.
Take the time to enjoy gathering, growing, cooking and tasting your food. And of course… the cleaning up!
Organic foods can provide that experience. Just knowing the soil used has eliminated the toxic hazards in them allows the consumer to be rest assured their foods are harmless.
That alone will make for a tastier meal.
As we wake up more and more during the shift in consciousness, we are provided with many new choices with which to sustain ourselves and our lifestyles.
At the end of the day, how we nourish our Soul will determine the success of sustaining our lives in a fruitful way, as long as they are organic.
